There’s one thing you immediately notice when you step inside Tesla’s four hall assembly plant in Tilburg – there’s plenty of space. Opened in August 2013 and expanded in September 2015, the OEM has left itself room to grow across its 43,000 sq m of floor space, giving it further possibilities in its mission to scale up production to 500,000 units per annum (upa). “The last thing we want is to have to move again in years to come,” a spokesperson told Automotive World.
