Opel-Holden relationship takes new step with production for Australia

Opel's Rüsselsheim plant is starting volume production of Holden branded cars for the Australian market

New car sales in Australia last month were nearly on part with the levels seen in January 2014, according to VFACTS figures published by Australia's Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI). A total of 82,116 cars were sold in the country last month, down marginally by 0.2% compared with the 82,285 units sold in the corresponding month a year earlier.
