Myanmar tempts OEMs seeking first-mover advantage

A growing number of OEMs with an eye to the future and are moving in to Myanmar to establish first-mover advantage.

Myanmar continues to attract new OEM investment as interest in new cars rises. Mazda is just the latest to set up shop. Operations at the first Mazda dealership in the country began in October, at which time Hiroshi Inoue, Mazda’s Executive Officer, commented on the high growth prospects for Myanmar.
