The US light vehicle market is on course for a nine-month high in May, buoyed in part by an onslaught of Memorial Day offers. Memorial Day, celebrated on the last Monday in May, marks the unofficial start of the summer holidays, which run through Labor Day in September. While war memorials and military cemeteries will receive a flood of visitors, so too will car dealerships. The three-day weekend will see huge discounts across a range of brands and models.
