TPMS to see “significant growth in future” says Freescale

Since regulations in the US have mandated the installation of tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) as standard, and the EU introducing similar legislations, the development of the TPMS market has accelerated. This is according to a recent report by Research in China, which anticipates an average annual growth rate of 16.83% of the these systems globally between 2014 and 2017.

Automotive World spoke to Marc Osajda, Business Development Manager, Sensor Solutions, EMEA at Freescale about the trends driving TPMS uptake.
