IAC looks to eliminate physical testing

Technology at the supplier’s airbag deployment centre is grabbing data from physical testing for use in simulations

As part of its role in developing airbag deployment systems, International Automotive Components (IAC) is turning to physical modelling, made possible by computer-aided engineering (CAE). Its ultimate goal is to eliminate the need for physical deployments of systems under testing and development.
