The news that sanctions on Iran would be lifted has resulted in a flurry of interest from the automotive industry. In the same day, PSA Peugeot Citroen confirmed plans to resume operations, and Renault announced its serious interest in returning to the market. The announcements coincide with a visit by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Paris.
