With domestic new car sales and exports on a rise, Ford's investment in Valencia to raise output by 40% comes at the right time

Among the major automotive markets in the EU, Spain recorded the largest year-on-year increase in new passenger car registrations in 2014, although it came behind Germany, the UK, France and Italy in terms of sales volume. The country accounted for registrations of 855,308 cars in all, which was 18.4% more than the 722,689 units registered in 2013.
