Ford-controlled Automotive Components Holdings (ACH) officially started operations as a temporary holding company for the automotive components manufacturing, R&D, testing and other facilities transferred from Visteon to Ford on 1 October 2005. The holding company was primarily set up in order to ensure a flow of components from these facilities to Ford.
