Driverless Ford is put to the test at dummy campus facility

Ford believes the University of Michigan’s ‘Mcity’ is a fitting proving ground for its driverless cars

Ford has begun testing driverless cars at the University of Michigan’s Mcity campus, a purpose-built proving ground for autonomous vehicles. Fitted with a range of sensors, a modified Ford Fusion was the first vehicle to be sent around the campus on 13 November.
