Spurred by the diesel crisis, Volkswagen Group is seeking to reposition its operations to better harness new mobility concepts. The latest business plan, Together: Strategy 2025, calls for multi-billion euro investments in such areas as electric vehicles (EVs), alternative mobility concepts and autonomous driving. To finance this, there are concurrent steps to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
