Daimler vowed to fight climate change tooth and nail at its TecDay Road to the Future event in Stuttgart, Germany on 9 June 2016. The OEM has said it will invest a total of €14.5bn (US$16.34bn) in research and development – more than half of which will be spent on “green technologies.”
