China’s cyber security law strengthens censorship, shakes foreign firms

Many players are concerned about the new less than transparent law, suggesting protectionist motivations more than security ones. By Megan Lampinen

The Chinese government has outlined a new cyber security law which has many automotive players concerned. The law should come into effect in June 2017, granting the government wide ranging power to protect a vaguely defined 'critical information infrastructure'.
