China claims 6% of European market in May

On 24 June 2025, Jato Dynamics published its new vehicle registration figures for 28 markets in Europe throughout May. While domestic brands continue to dominate, Chinese models made significant gains: increasing volumes 111% year-on-year (YoY) to claim almost 6% (65,808 units) of the total market, up from slightly less than 3% in May 2024.
