Shenzhen, China-based electric vehicle manufacturer BYD is close to rolling out its first battery-electric bus in the US. Just under a year after it first announced plans to set up an electric bus manufacturing facility in Lancaster, California, the OEM is now ready to assemble the first of these buses and start delivery to the local transit authority.
