Complex though it is in practice, the Internet of Things (IoT) can still be boiled down to a basic premise – connecting everything to everything. Being able to connect tiny devices such as sensors to the Internet provides such a wealth of application possibilities that one of the main challenges moving forward will be nurturing an environment that won’t restrain the pace of innovation. In other words, how will the technology keep up with the ideas?
