BMW is emerging as a clear leader when it comes to responding to changing market demands, and its presence at this year's Paris Motor Show emphasises just that. The OEM's stand features a line-up of traditional models, such as the BMW 2 Series Convertible and the new X6, which are both making their global debuts, alongside new diesel engines for the 5 Series, a special-edition 7 Series sedan and the 2 Series Active Tourer. However, at the OEM's press conference much of the emphasis was on the i8 plug-in hybrid, electrification in general, and changing mobility patterns.
