Passenger car sales in India fell for the first time in July, following 30 consecutive months of growth. Last month, car sales fell by 15.8% to 133,747 units, compared with 158,767 cars sold in July 2010.
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) attributed this decline in sales primarily to hikes
