Daimler announced on 8 August that the 500-strong Sindelfingen-based Mercedes-Benz design team led by director Professor Gorden Wagener had won the three first places in the Automotive Brand Contest 2011, whose jury voted it 'Team of the year'. The team also operates out of four studios abroad.
