Wrightspeed has announced the receipt of US$5m in a Series A financing from a private investor. The company will use the funds towards development of its Digital DriveSystem – an extended-range hybrid electric drive system targeted at high performance vehicles and vehicles with high fuel consumption, such as heavy trucks.
