Chrysler has agreed to temporarily stop granting new dealer franchises in areas currently served by dealers that are seeking arbitration. As part of its bankruptcy emergence plan, Chrysler wants to cut 789 dealers across the US. A total of 409 dealers slated for closure have objected and filed for arbitration.
