Fiat and Sollers have confirmed plans to set up a new joint venture in Russia to build passenger cars and SUVs. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Sollers chief executive Vadim Shvetsov and Fiat chief Sergio Marchionne in the presence of Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of Russia.
