Trends in Europe over the last ten years have seen passenger car manufacturing migrate from Western Europe to Central Eastern European (CEE) states such as Slovakia and Romania. However, whilst France, Belgium and Italy have seen major declines in their production volumes, countries such as Germany and the UK have weathered the shift well, with comparatively small production drop-offs.
