After more than a year of protracted sales decline, Tesla delivered 497,099 electric vehicles (EVs) in Q3 2025, up 7.4% from a year earlier and substantially beating Wall Street estimates of about 447,000. The performance was fuelled largely by US buyers rushing to take advantage of the federal EV tax credit before it expired on 30 September, helping the company clear around 50,000 vehicles from its inventory.
