Honda ends GM production of Acura ZDX as US demand slows

Honda joins a growing list of automakers reining in their EV ambitions, particularly in the US market. By Stewart Burnett

Honda will cease building its Acura ZDX electric crossover in the US, becoming the latest automaker to scale back electric vehicle (EV) production and attribute it to weakened demand. The model was assembled by General Motors at its Spring Hill plant in Tennessee under a deal first struck in 2020.
