Chinese LiDAR maker Hesai has secured a US$40m order from an unnamed US robotaxi company, marking the company’s second major deal with a US firm in September. Under the agreement, Hesai will act as the exclusive supplier of both long- and short-range LiDAR products, with deliveries to be completed by the end of 2026.
