The UK takes a step closer towards autonomous mobility with the launch of a public consultation into the regulation of self-driving services. The consultation was opened by Future of Roads Minister Lilian Greenwood on 21 July 2025 and welcomes public and industry viewpoints on how to ensure that autonomous driving services are safe and accessible.
