Rail operator ECS pilots e-trucks in London

Belgian firm ECS has launched a 16-month trial of electric trucks for first-and-last-mile deliveries in London, combining road transport with its primarily rail-focused logistics strategy. Thus far, the trucks have covered 14,775 km in three months, completing 329 on-time deliveries for 12 customers and exceeding expectations for range performance.
