Seoul rolls out self-driving taxis with homegrown technology

Seoul is ramping up its robotaxi efforts, pledging to achieve SAE Level 4 autonomy with its local fleets by 2027. The goal of the efforts is to validate the efficacy of locally-produced autonomous driving solutions in a market increasingly dominated by Chinese and US players.
