Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has reduced production at several factories and delayed expansion plans as inventory builds up—despite aggressive price cuts intended to bump up its sales. A new report by Reuters indicates that the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) maker has been cancelling night shifts and cutting output by over one third at some of its facilities, according to sources familiar with the matter.
