COMMENT: Virtual assistants and HMI to transform driving experience

Voice recognition tools in today’s vehicles are frustrating, to say the least. “Change the radio station” more often than not results in the radio being turned off, and opening up the phone book to call a friend is a challenge. Dictating a text message is fraught with danger, and you can guarantee that it will be riddled with a series of typos and errors unless you speak very slowly and very loudly.
