On November 15, 2016, Chery new mini SUV-Tiggo 3X(Chinese market naming) was launched synchronously in Beijing, Chengdu and Changsha. The launch conference was broadcast live worldwide with the main session in China, and the parallel sessions in Iran, Chile, Russia and Brazil, presenting the “smartest” new model launch conference ever. As a new model under Chery Strategy 2.0, Tiggo 3X has accomplished the more segmented coverage of Chery in SUV market, and formed a distinctive and well-mixed Tiggo product matrix.
The launch conference in China opened with a graffiti hip-hop show. The main session in China was connected live to the parallel sessions in Iran, Chile, Russia and Brazil, bringing together consumers in the five countries to witness the brilliant appearance of Tiggo 3X. The launch conference culminated in the congratulations from the parallel sessions.
With the tremendous technical and R&D strength under Chery Strategy 2.0, Tiggo 3X is up to international standards in terms of quality, safety and reliability. It is superior to other models of its segment in appearance, safety, comfort and smart connection, and has become a quality model in mini SUV market.
The appearance design of Tiggo 3X is inspired by Chery “Life in motion” design language and H.D.S concept. The masculine and cool streamline design achieved the perfect unity of power and fashion; the asymmetrical interior shows the spirituality and aesthetic sense of architecture; and the youthful and trendy orange-black style meets the individual needs of current young people. In space, with a dimension of 4,200mm X 1,760mm X 1,570mm and a wheelbase of 2,555 mm, it is far superior to competitors of its segment. In safety, designed in accordance with five-star safety standards, Tiggo 3X ensures overall driving safety with high-strength body and precise manufacturing process. In durability, Tiggo 3X has passed nearly 100 tests and validations, and over 200 units were tested in development with a cumulative distance of some 1,100,000 km. With fuel consumption of only 5.9 L/100 km, Tiggo 3X has outstanding fuel economy.
Tiggo 3X is the third Chery Strategy 2.0 model, next to Arrizo 5 and Tiggo 7. It abandons the moderate design concept, and uses mass trendy and individualized elements to cater to young consumers.
After its launch in China, Tiggo 3X will be launched in overseas markets such as Iran, Chile, Brazil, Russia, Argentina and Colombia in 2017. As Chery overseas product lineup is enhanced and its new brand image becomes more popular abroad, Chery will be recognized by more overseas consumers for its fully-upgraded product power and brand power.
