Magna International Inc. announced that its Magna Steyr Engineering Center China has received the Supplier of the Year Award from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) for its outstanding performance in 2015. The award was presented to Bruno Lambert, President Magna Steyr Asia, and Hassine Sioud, General Manager Magna Steyr Engineering Center China, at the FCA APAC Supplier Town Hall Meeting in Shanghai.
“Fiat Chrysler has been a long-time customer of Magna. It means a great deal to our group to be able to grow with them in China and receive an acknowledgment such as this,” said Bruno Lambert.
Magna, through its Magna Steyr operating unit, is the world’s leading, brand-independent engineering and manufacturing partner for automobile makers. In 2014 the engineering center, with its team of approximately 65 employees, won its first major award from FCA, a program that is planned for start of production this year.
