Vehicles are becoming increasingly prone to hacking. Gone are the days where drivers only need to worry about having their car physically broken into. Two remote hackers recently managed to control and shut down a 2014 Jeep vehicle while the driver was on a highway, sending signals to auto companies that cyber security needs to be taken seriously.
Arxan Technologies has been around since 2001 and was originally funded by the US government to protect its software assets. The company now provides tools for companies across a number of segments, where the primary concern is fending against hackers.
Automotive World spoke to Matt Clemens, Security Solutions Architect at Arxan Technologies, who explains that the industry needs to change its approach to cyber security.
