Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Material Sciences company, will be presenting at Plastics-in-Motion taking place 1-4 June in Dearborn (MI), U.S.
Russell Bloomfield, Senior Application Development Engineer, will present “Next Generation, High Performance Materials for Air Induction Components.” DSM has developed new, super-stabilized Stanyl® Diablo PA46 and Akulon® Diablo PA66 grades for air induction applications that offer superior heat deflection temperature (HDT) as compared to other material solutions available today. At the same time, DSM’s materials also offer excellent chemical resistance to low pH environment and robust, long-term thermal aging performance. The presentation will highlight the performance attributes of these material grades and how they are ideal for metal replacement on hot charge air ducts.
Plastics-in-Motion is an automotive conference and exhibit where industry leaders convene to discuss the challenges and explore new opportunities in the use of plastics in the automotive industry.
