When biggest gets bigger – Daimler Trucks on course for further growth

Daimler Trucks is poised to benefit from an upswing in Europe and continued revenue growth in NAFTA, as well as greater heavy-duty engine volumes and increased penetration of automatic gearbox sales in the US

Following a strong 2014 despite challenging market conditions, Daimler Trucks has raised the bar for 2015 and is targeting notable growth in both sales and profit. Speaking at the division's annual press conference, Daimler Truck head Wolfgang Bernhard emphasised that targets were met last year "despite partly weaker markets" and that the OEM plans to "stay on this course of success in 2015 and again increase our unit sales and operating profit. We will continue to come closer to our long-term objectives step by step."
