GKN Driveline Mexico’s manufacturing facility in Villagran has been awarded General Motors prestigious Supplier Quality Excellence Award (SQEA).
The SQEA is given to supplier companies achieving launch and quality excellence. The SQEA is evaluated based on product delivery compliance, service and product quality, manufacturing capability and the ability to keep and increase the customer trust. GKN’s Villagran manufacturing facility met or exceeded several performance metrics in these areas.
The facility in Villagran, one of three GKN Driveline sites in Mexico employing nearly 2,000 people, received the award for its commitment to continuous improvement in processes, quality and customer satisfaction. GM representatives honored the team at the facility.
