Results for October to December 2013 show a strong increase in aggregate operating profit at the light vehicle divisions of the world's major OEMs. Across the 15 of 17 leading car manufacturers to report quarterly profits, the aggregate operating profit increase was 10.9% compared with rises of 4.5% in revenue and 5.8% in unit sales.
