BYD experiencing explosive 1,248% growth in e-truck sales

BYD is leading the charge on commercial vehicle electrification, just as it is in the passenger car market. By Stewart Burnett

BYD’s electric truck (e-truck) sales surged dramatically in April 2025, with a year-over-year increase of 1,248% according to data shared by CleanTechnica. Commercial vehicle sales, excluding buses, rose from 525 in April 2024 to 7,080 in April 2025.
