Zachariah John, Engineering Director, Honeywell Turbo Technologies has been confirmed as a speaker in the passenger car Powertrain Innovation track at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.
Zachariah John is the Site leader and Engineering Director at Honeywell Technology Solutions Lab in Bangalore.
In this role, Zachariah and his team are responsible for designing and developing turbochargers that are helping global automotive manufacturers develop engines meeting the latest emission norms. The team has successfully developed and produced the world’s first two-cylinder engine turbocharging solution and has shared the findings with the advanced global markets.
Zachariah brings 20 years of technical know-how and leadership at different levels on diesel engine design and development. He has worked for Kirloskar Oil Engines, developing engines for generating sets, and Eicher Motors, as Head – New Engine Development, where he was responsible for designing and developing engines for automotive application. He has also worked at General Electric, developing engines for locomotive application.
Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The panel on day two will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s passenger car industry over the next ten years and beyond.
