Recently, the first batch of three pure electric vehicles e6 have formally delivered to the power company MEA, in Bangkok, Thailand. At the same time, BYD has also become the first Chinese auto company to enter the Thai market enjoy import“zero” tariff with Form E (certificate of origin, China – ASEAN Free Trade Agreement).
Forthe Knowledge of electric vehicle, BYD has done the training for MEA engineers,which mainly including the operating principle of electric vehicle, the charge and discharge mode, emergency troubleshooting notes, etc.
The leadership of MEA has done the test drive of e6, who appreciating the very good performance of e6, especially for its wonderful climbing ability. The senior of MEA said that it’s a great cooperation with BYD in new energy vehicles, also looking forward to the energy storage business in the future.
Mr.Liu, general manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, said that there will be a big further development of electric vehicles in Thailand, BYD expect more in-depth cooperation with MEA in electric vehicle charging, battery energy storage, and other related areas.
