Subhabrata Mukherjee, Country Manager – India & Thailand, SSAB has been confirmed as a speaker in the commercial vehicle and passenger car Lightweighting & Manufacturing tracks at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.
In a career spanning 12 years, Subhabrata has held multiple roles in varying capacities in organisations like ESAB India, Corewire Surface Technologies and UK Trade and Investment, where he worked in foreign trade and development. In 2010, Subhabrata joined SSAB and is currently responsible for the company’s automotive business in India and Thailand. In this role, he works with automotive OEMs, helping them design vehicles that are lightweight and crash-safe using advanced high strength steel.
Subhabrata holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science, Jadavpur University, Calcutta.
Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. Each day will begin with a panel discussion which will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s commercial and passenger car industries over the next ten years and beyond.
