Sridhar Lakshminarayanan, Vice President, Satyam-Venture Engineering Services has been confirmed as a speaker in the passenger car lightweighting & manufacturing track at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.
With 24 years of experience, Sridhar is currently the Vice President at Satyam-Venture and the Global Delivery Head for their Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) operations.
Sridhar has managed large teams of engineers, playing significant roles in enhancing the quality of high technology products of global automotive & aerospace OEMs & Tier 1 suppliers. He has vast experience in building engineering teams from scratch to hundreds of designers and engineers. His significant assignments have been with QuEST, EASi, and Samtel Engineering Services, apart from Satven.
Sridhar and his teams have worked extensively on vehicle crashworthiness, occupant safety, durability, optimisation, and NVH aspects for several OEMs and their suppliers over the years.
Sridhar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M). His Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (Specialization: Finite Element Analysis) is from the University of Regina in Regina, Canada.
