ITC provides laboratory support backed by engineering expertise to help speed and simplify designs
ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ON), driving energy efficient innovations, has opened a new Imaging Technology Center (ITC) in Detroit. The center, co-located with the company’s Detroit Sales Office, will support ON Semiconductor as it helps customers select and implement imaging solutions for automotive and other applications.
A comprehensively equipped imaging laboratory facilitates the development and tuning of new camera designs based on ON Semiconductor’s broad and innovative range of CMOS and CCD image sensors . A new ITC Demo Room will also provide an ongoing showcase of the company’s latest imaging technologies and products. Coupled with the in-house technology expertise of ON Semiconductor’s engineering staff, the ITC will help strengthen the company’s close links with key customers in the automotive sector working in areas such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), as well as other markets including industrial and security.
“The ITC will provide a valuable resource for our customers working in the rapid growth area of image sensing,” said Taner Ozcelik, Senior Vice President, Image Sensor Group at ON Semiconductor. “The new center and the expert staff supporting it provide the perfect engineering support to our extensive and growing range of image sensing products for all applications.”
