The plants and service companies of GAZ Group summed up the performance of the social obligations under the 2016 collective employment agreements: All social obligations to GAZ Group employees are 100% fulfilled. The amount of 813.3 M RUB was allocated to social programs, benefits and guarantees. Moreover, contracts with the trade union committees are approved for 2017. The amount of payments within the framework of the collective employment agreements will increase in 2017 and amount to 924.3 M RUB.

The GAZ Group social policy is developed with regard to the needs of the employees identified within the framework of the annual surveys. GAZ Group develops actions to improve comfort and safety of work stations, professional development, training, organization of leisure time and entertainment activities upon the results of such surveys.

The social programs and guarantees implemented at the plants and put into the collective employment agreements include medical services, support of young families with preschool children assistance to large families, single mothers, etc. A lot of attention is paid to catering of and compensation of lunch costs to employees: The total amount of catering subsidies will increase by nearly 10% in 2017.

A special attention is paid to professional growth of young specialists and team building. The company conventionally encourages the winners of the corporate competitions with awards, holds scientific and technical conference “Future Made Today”, competitions “GAZ Group Professionals”, sportaciads, humour competitions, etc.

GAZ Group keeps implementing material assistance and medical service programs and holds events for pensioners and veterans.

For the purpose of development of corporate and cultural values, promotion of the healthy lifestyle, organization of entertainment of employees, GAZ Group maintains several dozens of social assets in Nizhny Novgorod, the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Yaroslavl, Ulyanovsk, Miass: museums, sports clubs, houses of culture, libraries, recreation centres, medical institutions, profile educational institutions.

A lot of attention is paid to organization of vacations of employees and their family members. The company employees receive subsidized tickets to recreation centres. In 2017, GAZ Group allocates over 56.8 M RUB to employee entertainment in the recreation centres, and over 42.5 M RUB to entertainment of children of GAZ Group employees.
