in Stand N° 7A – 316.
The flexible and scalable ComauFlex system is based on standard modules. It allows automotive manufactures of all sizes to manage:

- fast and easy successive models introduction (zero-loss launch).
- different car sizes on the same lines.
- fast commissioning and the best time to market.
Intuitive and highly unique, the system essentially reorganizes production into two distinct areas that are fully interconnected. By subdividing the logistic area and the assembly zone, and concentrating them within specific areas, ComauFlex is able to help reducing stand-by times as well as the number of steps needed to accomplish the full production process.
In VersaRoll lines, integral part of ComauFlex, assembly materials are introduced and kitted directly on the same carrier that moves the main car part through the line. The part to be assembled in that specific station is picked up by the robot from the carrier kit. Within VersaRoll philosophy, the carrier represents both a transfer system and the line feeding.
In VersaPallet lines, the other integral part of ComauFlex, the transfer is managed by geopallets , which are
moved by high speed power roller beds, where the parts to be assembled are served by an innovative lateral line feeding. While VersaRoll is applied for underbody geo and bodysides, VersaPallet represents the best solution for respot and framing.
