Blink Electric Vehicle Charging Stations & Blink Network Work in Tandem to Support Business Intelligence Needs
Car Charging Group, Inc. (OTCQB: CCGI) (“CarCharging”), the largest owner, operator, and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, announced today that the company has introduced a new feature for fleet customers utilizing Blink EV chargers and Blink Network, the software that operates, monitors, and tracks the Blink stations and all of its charging data. Fleet managers are now able to require fleet drivers to input individual vehicle mileage into the Blink EV charging station before each charging session.
Accounts that own or manage EV chargers that service fleet electric vehicles have been able to group their charging stations and restrict station access to specific drivers, but were interested in additional information. In order to provide the fleet manager with the necessary data to monitor and analyze frequency of charging, energy consumption, and driving trends, in a single platform, CarCharging incorporated feedback from fleet managers into the Blink Network.
“Based on the feedback provided to us by station hosts that are fleet managers, we knew that it was imperative to increase the flexibility of the features available on the Blink Network,” said Michael D. Farkas, CarCharging’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “By incorporating the odometer value from fleet drivers at the time of each charging session, fleet managers now have valuable data at their fingertips.”
