Anders Grundströmer, Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicles India and Senior Vice President, Scania Group, has been confirmed to speak in the Big Picture session at the Automotive World CV Megatrends India 2014 event being held on 25 February 2014 in Chennai.
The Big Picture session is a panel discussion focusing on the future of commercial vehicle megatrends over the next ten years and beyond.
Anders Grundströmer is a Master of Business Management. After graduating in 1977, he started his career at Saab Car division and held several roles and responsibilities at various levels for over 15 years. He joined Scania in 1992, and was appointed Regional Sales Director Nordic and Eastern Region Europe in 1996.
Anders took on the challenge to develop Scania’s distributorship concept in Europe as Managing Director Scania Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2000, and later as Managing Director of Scania in the Netherlands and the BeNeLux Business Unit between 2004 and 2008.
He was appointed Executive Regional Director, Region Western and Southern Europe (WSE) in 2008. On 1 February 2013, Anders took up his new position as Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicles India and Senior Vice President Scania Group.
