The global automotive industry continues to struggle from the effects of the COVID pandemic and the semiconductor shortage. More recently players have had to factor in substantial supply chain disruption stemming from the war in Ukraine, rising inflation and a potential economic crisis. Then imagine a change of leadership on top of it all. That’s what ZF, one of the biggest automotive suppliers in Germany and a pioneering force in connected, autonomous and electric vehicles, is currently facing. Luckily it has a solid year behind it on which to build and brace for coming challenges and opportunities.
