Will the EV segment benefit from diesel discouragement?

As some countries look to ban or discourage the use of old, inefficient and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emitting diesels, other segments may benefit. The electric vehicle (EV) market in particular may see sales rise due to incentive schemes designed to prevent the use of diesels and encourage EV uptake.
